Professional development workshop “Using LaTeX in preparation of scientific articles and more!”

The Young Scientists Council of the Institute, together with Kharkiv Young Minds Section, held a webinar on January 9, 2021 “Using LaTeX in the preparation of scientific articles and not only!” on the ZOOM platform. It’s designed for beginners but is also good for those who have specific questions. There were 56 people registered for the webinar, of which 31 attended the meeting. Thanks to the online format, participants from other cities and countries could join the meeting, in particular, we received 4 applications from Yerevan State University (Armenia) and 1 from the University of Alcala (Spain). The recording of the meeting can be found by the links:

The organization “Batteries, surrender!” (http://batareiky.in.ua/), under the hood of which we started collecting batteries, had an agreement with the Lviv factory “Argentum”, but in 2013 they stopped it due to the lack of funding. Since then, “Batteries, surrender!” (http://batareiky.in.ua/) found partners in Romania, but now batteries recycling have extra cost. Thanks to Kharkiv Young Minds Section (https://www.epsyoungminds.org/), we recently sent 50 kg of batteries for recycling, but unfortunately we do not have the funds to do this regularly.
