During the existence of the Department 3 doctoral theses were defended (Maleev V.Ya., 1976; Semenov M.A., 1991; Shestopalova A.V., 2007), 4 workers got PhD in Medicine and Biology (Anokhina G.A., 1969; Krasnitskaya A.A., 1970; Rosenberg V.D., 1972; Dreval N.V., 2009), 20 scientists got PhD degrees in Physics and Mathematics (Gasan A.I., 1974; Semenov M.A., 1975; Kashpur V.A., 1977; Shchegoleva T.Yu., 1981; Bolbukh T.V., 1986; Shestopalova A.V., 1987; Starikov E., 1988; Zhilyakova T.A., 1991; Kuleshov L.L., 1992; Kruglova E.B., 1996; Tolstorukov M.E., 1998; Virnik K.M., 1999; Bereznyak E.G., 2000; Glibitskiy G.M., 2000; Khorunzhaya O.V., 2004; Dukhopelnikov E.V., 2005; Gladkovskaya N.A., 2006; Boriskina E.P., 2007; Ermak E.L., 2008; Sukhanov O.S., 2008; Khrebtova A.S., 2015).

At the present time three postgraduate students are working at the Department (Gerus A.A., Fomin A.V., Glibitskiy D.M.). In 2016 the defense of M.Yu. Zhitnikova’s thesis and in 2017 the one of D.A. Pesina are planned.
