\"\"<\/a>Young Scientists Council of O. Ya. Usykov Institute for Radiophysics and Electronics NAS of Ukraine, with the great support of EPS Young Minds organization, held a competition of articles for young scientists. <\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The offline part of the competition took place on September 2 in the conference hall of the Institute in compliance with sanitary norms \u2013 up to 17 people in the hall, sanitizer, and masks. All works had a high scientific level, which made it difficult for the members of the Council to select the winners but created a very productive atmosphere. Results of the competition:
\n1) First place \u2013 Oleg Yermakov from V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University for the work “Hybrid waves localized at hyperbolic metasurfaces”;
\n2) Second place \u2013 Trofimenko Sergei from NSC “Kharkiv Institute of Physics and Technology” for the work “X-ray emission by a high-energy electron with a nonequilibrium field in an ultrathin crystal”;
\n3) Third place \u2013 Maxim Mazanov from V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University for the work “Resonant absorption of terahertz waves in layered superconductors: Wood’s anomalies and anomalous dispersion”;
\nEncouraging prizes were awarded to Anatoliy Dudush (Ivan Kozhedub KAFU), Ivzhenko Lyubov (IRE NASU), Trofimenko Serhiy (NSC “KIPT”), Mazanov Maksym (V. N. Karazin KhNU).\n<\/p>\n
